Opportunity - Provides support and referral services for a wide variety
of programs designed to help people reach the goal of self-sufficiency and
lessen the causes of poverty. Located in Gainesville, GA they can be

Adult Learning Center - Offers free of charge classes designed to assist

Dawson County Head Start and Early Head Start -
Provides comprehensive early childhood and family development services to
children from low-income households. Children who attend also receive FREE
medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks provided to them.

St Vincent De Paul - In
addition to providing referral qualification for the Ric-Rack Food Pantry St
Vincent De Paul provides financial assistance to help struggling families meet

The mission of Dawson County DFCS is to strengthen Georgia's families -
supporting their self-sufficiency and helping them protect their vulnerable
children and adults by being a resource to their families, not a substitute.

Good Shepherd Clinic -
A non-profit center that will provide free non-emergent health and wellness
services for individuals that live and or work in Dawson County without access
