Thrift Store

The goal of the Thrift Store is to sell donated merchandise to the general public then use the profits of those sales to purchase much needed food items for the Food Bank. Excess proceeds are also used to support other charitable 501(c)(3) projects in Dawson County.

Our Store Hours are:  MONDAY - SATURDAY 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Donations accepted Monday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Very popular is our "SENIOR MONDAY" when anyone 60 older can shop at a 50% savings (excluding furniture and large appliances).  Don't miss out on great products at unbelievable prices.

We will NOT pick up items that are irreparably damaged, dirty, or otherwise unsellable.  Please call us if you have any questions about the acceptability of your donated items. (706) 265-1371

The Thrift Store has something for everyone.  Many of our products are new, unused items still in their original box.  Some come directly from local retail stores reducing their inventory for seasonal changes.  Our goal is to accept and resell only items that are in working order and fully usable for their intended purpose.

In addition to a vast selection of clothing items, we have books, movies, household/kitchen items, home decor, furniture and appliances.  If we have it, you can be assured our price will be less than you can find it for in a retail store.  There is always something in the store on sale for 50% off.  So do yourself a favor: before looking elsewhere, drop in and see if we have what you are looking for.

How You Can Help

  • We are always looking for customers who can benefit from our outstanding values.  Tell everyone you know to check out the Thrift Store to see what we have in stock.
  • Donate your unneeded, usable products to RIC-Rack.  Remember that everything we do at RIC-Rack benefits residents of Dawson County who find themselves in need of basic support.  Donating to and/or purchasing from our Thrift Store helps your neighbors.  And, RIC-Rack is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization so all of your donations are potentially tax deductible.
  • Volunteering is a great way to support your community, and it is very rewarding.
